Want to wake up every morning with the perfect look without needing mascara, an eyelash curler, or extensions? The eyelash lift in Madrid is currently the most popular treatment at our Lashes Original center—and for good reason. In just one 60-minute session, your natural lashes are curled, defined, and enhanced from the root, with results that last between 6 and 8 weeks.

No adhesives, no extensions, no weekly maintenance. Just your own lashes, enhanced to their fullest potential.

What is an eyelash lift?

An eyelash lift—also known as a lash lift —is a semi-permanent technique that curls your natural lashes from the base of the eyelid using silicone molds and high-quality setting gels. Unlike extensions, no synthetic hair is added: we work exclusively with what you already have, revealing the full length of each lash and instantly opening up your eyes.

The treatment is typically finished with an eyelash tint that enhances the color and creates a natural mascara-like effect without the need for makeup. The result is a more open, expressive, and completely natural look that easily withstands water, sweat, and makeup.

You can combine it with other eye treatments during the same appointment for a comprehensive result and to save time. Ask us about our complete eye treatment packages when you book.

How Long Does an Eyelash Lift Last?

The effects of a lash lift last between 6 and 8 weeks, depending on your eyelashes' natural growth cycle and how well you care for them afterward. We recommend repeating the treatment every 6–8 weeks to maintain the perfect curl all year round.

Unlike extensions, a lift doesn't require touch-ups every 2–3 weeks. Just one appointment every six weeks, and your look will always be on point.

How to Do an Eyelash Lift, Step by Step

The entire procedure at our Madrid location takes about 60 minutes and is completely painless:

1. Cleansing and preparation — We thoroughly remove all makeup from the eye area to ensure that the lifting gel adheres properly.

2. Positioning the silicone mold — We adjust the size of the mold to fit the shape of your eyelid and the length of your eyelashes. This step determines the final curl of the result.

3. Applying the lifting gel — We secure the lashes to the mold with the gel and let it sit for the exact amount of time recommended for your lash type. Not a minute more, not a minute less.

4. Setting and nourishment — We apply a setting solution to ensure the curl lasts, and a nourishing serum to keep your lashes hydrated and strengthened.

5. Eyelash tint — We finish with black tint to define each lash and achieve a natural mascara effect. The results are immediate and visible right away.

Eyelash Lifts vs. Extensions: Which Is Better for You?

This is the question we’re asked most often during consultations. The answer depends on what you’re looking for:

Choose a facelift if:

  • Do you want a completely natural result?
  • Do you prefer low-maintenance care (one appointment every 6–8 weeks)?
  • You already have eyelashes that are long enough but lack curl
  • Are you looking for the most affordable treatment in the industry?
  • You don't have time for frequent touch-ups

Choose extensions if:

  • Do you want more volume and length than your natural lashes provide?
  • Are you looking for a more striking or dramatic effect?
  • Would you like to customize the design (cat-eye effect, wispy, Russian volume, etc.)?
  • Do you want to look your best at all times with touch-ups every 2–3 weeks?

At Lashes Original, we specialize in both techniques. If you're not sure which one is best suited to your eye shape and lifestyle, book a free eye consultation and our specialists will give you advice with no obligation before you make your decision.

Aftercare Following an Eyelash Lift

To make the results last as long as possible:

  • First 24 hours: Do not get your eyelashes wet, avoid steam, and do not apply makeup to the area
  • Afterward: You can wash your face and apply makeup as usual
  • Avoid using oil-based products near your eyes, as they can loosen the eyelash adhesive
  • Don't use the eyelash curler—you won't need it anymore
  • Apply a nourishing eyelash serum to keep your lashes healthy between treatments

Frequently Asked Questions About Eyelash Lifts in Madrid

Can I get a lash lift if my lashes are very short? Lash lifts work best on medium-length or long lashes. If your lashes are very short, our specialists will advise you during your consultation whether a lash lift is right for you or if there’s a better alternative. That’s why we offer a free preliminary consultation.

Does an eyelash lift hurt? No. It’s a completely painless treatment. Most of our clients use the 60 minutes to relax or even fall asleep.

Can I wear contact lenses on the day of the appointment? Remove them before the session and wait 24 hours before putting them back in. You can bring your glasses to wear after the session is over.

What is the difference between a lash lift and a lash perm? They are similar techniques. The classic perm uses a curler that curls the lashes more sharply. The modern lash lift uses flat silicone pads that lift the lashes from the root, creating a more natural and even look. At Lashes Original, we use the lash lift technique because it delivers better results and is gentler on the lashes.

Can I combine a chemical straightening treatment with hair extensions? Not in the same session, since the chemicals used in the straightening treatment can affect how well the extensions adhere. If you want to switch from extensions to a chemical straightening treatment, wait for the extensions to fall out naturally or ask us to remove them first.

How often should I get a lash lift? Every 6–8 weeks, in line with your eyelashes’ natural growth cycle. Many of our clients combine it with an eyebrow touch-up so they can get everything done in a single visit.

Have you heard of the Korean eyelash lift?

If you're looking to take your eyelash lift to the next level, the Korean eyelash lift —also known as lash Botox or keratin eyelash lift —is the most advanced evolution of the traditional treatment.

Unlike a traditional eyelash lift, the Korean eyelash lift incorporates a complex of keratin, proteins, and collagen that not only curls and lifts the lashes from the root but also nourishes, thickens, and strengthens them from within. The result is visibly thicker, shinier, and healthier lashes with a perfect curl that can last up to 10 weeks.

It is especially recommended for fine, weak, or damaged lashes caused by repeated use of eyelash extensions or curlers.
